The Favorites Library is a useful way to store work you have done in WebBuild Express so you can use it later. As you build pages in WebBuild Express, you'll probably find that you use certain combinations of cells, formats, images, etc. repeatedly. Rather than reconstruct them from scratch each time you need them, it's much easier to store them as "Favorites".
Here's an example. A designer finds that she needs to use bulleted paragraphs frequently on a site. She has built a page with a bulleted list like the following:
To make it easier to build bulleted lists in the future, she takes an empty part of her WebBuild page and copies two cells from the above list:
She now changes the text in the right-hand cell:
Now, with both cells selected, she clicks on "Edit" and then "Copy to Favorites" on the menu. The following screen appears, asking her to name the Favorite (note that a default will be supplied like "Fav1").
The designer types in the name she wants to use to identify the Favorite, "Bullet List Item", and clicks the "OK" button:
Now, whenever the designer wants to add a bulleted list item, she clicks on the Paste from Favorites Library icon in the toolbar( ) or chooses "Paste from Favorites Library" from the "Edit" menu. The following screen appears: |
