The Default Entry Page
You can also use the Tree to set the "Default Entry Page", which is the page that will load by default when someone visits your site without specifying a particular page. If your domain name, for example, is www.TestDomain.com, then a visitor who types http://www.TestDomain.com will see your Default Entry Page when he/she first gets to your site.
You might, for example, want to take visitors to your site directly to the "Products" or "Special Offers" page and give them links back to the "Home" page. You don't have to set the default page different from the Home page, but it's a feature you can use if you need to.
To select a page as the Default Entry Page (for example, "Our Company"), find it on the tree, click on the page name to select it, and then right-click on it. A dropdown menu will appear like in the example below: |
