"File" is the first choice in the WebBuild Express main menu. It offers a number of functions for managing your pages, applications, and sites.

When you click on the File Menu, you'll see the following choices:

New Application enables you to create a new WebBuild Express application.

Open Application will open an existing WebBuild Express application.

Save Application saves your current application on your PC including all data and images.

Save Application Assaves your current application under a new name.

Page Preview displays a page on your PC, as it will appear when published.

Site Preview enables you to view the entire site, including internal links, as it will appear when published.

Publish Application creates HTML files for all your pages and publishes your entire site to a folder on your PC.

Send to Server (FTP) enables you to send your published site to the Web host of your choice using File Transfer Protocol (FTP).

Import restores data from an Export data file (see below).

Export creates a file with data and images from one or more of your WebBuild Express applications. Export is a useful way of backing up your work, so that you will be able to recover data in the event of a computer failure.

Add Misc Files allows you to add files to a site that were not created by the WebBuild Express software, including custom HTML files, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Word documents, etc.

Check for Updatescommunicates with the WebBuild Express Web site and checks whether there any current updates (service packs or new versions) that you should know about.

Exit terminates the current session of WebBuild Express.
